If you are looking for something frugal and fun to do this weekend in the UK then have a look to see if a farm near you is taking part in Open Farm Sunday .
Open Farm Sunday is the farming industry's national open day, there are hundreds of events taking place ranging from farm walks to open days.
Most of the farms are free to enter but do double check using the Farm Finder , there are more than 350 farms taking part.

Each event is running their own activities which could include sheep racing, lamb feeding, face painting, tours and tractor rides so it sounds like a fun day.
